Attendance

Attendance is an important factor in education. We ask all students to attend the session they pick (Morning: 8:45 AM-1:15 PM, Afternoon: 10:59 AM- 3:29PM). If attendance falls below 75% attendance rate, we may put the student on an attendance contract. At that time, we will assess the best solution based on the student's needs. Absences or tardies will be excused only when documented. Documentation must be provided within 3 days of the absence to be excused. Examples:

• Doctor appointments
• Court appointments/hearings
• Probation appointments
• School business like field trips or testing
• Pre-arranged family business

Emergencies may be excused at the program administrator’s discretion. Notes or phone calls are appreciated but might not excuse a student’s absence or tardy. Students must check in/out with the classroom teacher when late for class, or when leaving school early.
