"I enjoy the exercise and socializing with friends on the team."

What is your goal this season?

"My goal for this year was to pace myself in all the races, improve my times on the courses that I raced in previous years, and not walk any of the courses during a meet."

How do you and your teammates hype each other up before a competition?

"We hype each other up by telling each other to believe in ourselves, remind them that they can succeed and push through until the end of the race."

What strengths do you have that make you a great student-athlete?

"The strengths I have are my positive attitude and leadership. Whenever I fall, I get right back up, and I am determined to do my very best at every single meet."

Who are your role models in your sport or life, and how have they influenced you?

"My role models are my family because when my parents were younger, they played sports. They show up to very event for me, just to cheer me on. They have also encouraged me to become the young man I am today!"

What high school do you want to go to and why?

"I want to go to Northridge because, as a cross country team, we have practiced with the Northridge students. I am familiar with some of the exercises and teammates, as well as the coaches. When I am at Northridge, eventually the Winograd Cross Country team will come to practice with us sometimes, so that motivates me to try to inspire the Winograd runners when they visit while I am in high school there."
