District 6 Welcomes New Professionals at New Professionals Academy

Two New Professionals smile as they walk into the New Professionals Academy at Tointon Academy.

We had a great time welcoming new educators and staff at this morning's New Professional Academy! The All-City Band, Brentwood Middle School LULAC members, and district administrators cheerfully welcomed each new professional as they entered the Tointon Academy of Pre-Engineering.

Welcome to Greeley-Evans School District 6, New Professionals!

We had a great time welcoming new educators and staff at this morning's New Professional Academy! The All-City Band, Brentwood Middle School LULAC members, and district administrators cheerfully welcomed each new professional as they entered the Tointon Academy of Pre-Engineering.

Superintendent Dr. Deirdre Pilch introduced our newest staff members to our strategic plan Innovation2030 and emphasized the important job that each one of our staff has in ensuring all students graduate both college AND career ready. The new professionals learned about:

  • the over 90% on-time graduation rate;
  • the Mill Levy Override our community voted for that has funded raises for teachers, technology in the classroom, concurrent enrollment (and so much more!);
  • the last Bond Issue that provided much needed infrastructure improvements and new schools in District 6;
  • the exponential growth our elementary students have made in the Dibels Literacy tests;
  • The Success Foundation supporting D6 students and staff;
  • the positive working relationship with the Greeley Education Association;
  • Consensus Decision Making;
  • AND SO MUCH MORE!

Educators new to District 6 will spend this week networking and learning about benefits, curriculum, assessment, instructional practices, and more.

Thank you for choosing D6, and welcome to the 2026-2027 school year

We are Better Together!
