Student Spotlight: Jeraldine Valentin Ordonez, Franklin Middle School
Meet Student Spotlight Jeraldine Valentin Ordonez from Franklin Middle School! This year, Jeraldine stepped out of her comfort zone by joining the school's theatre club Venom, where she really enjoyed developing friendships with her cast mates. Jeraldine's positive relationships with her school counselors have contributed to her desire to one day become a youth counselor or therapist.
Activities, Clubs, and Sports

Career/College Plans
I plan on attending a 4-year college to study psychology to become a youth counselor or therapist.
Favorite Subject
I don't have a favorite subject because I feel like I learn a lot from each and every one. If I had to choose one, it would be social studies because we get to learn about the past and see how much changed in the present.
Favorite Teacher
My favorite staff members would be all of the counselors because they are there to support and they always help students and understand them.
Hobbies
Drawing, playing volleyball and soccer, doing singing lessons, and practicing my acting.
Favorite Food and/or Restaurant
My favorite food is a Peruvian dish called Aji de Galina.
Favorite Movie or Television Show
LaLa Land
Personal Goals
- Being able to travel around the world.
- Graduating both high school and college/university.
- Be accepted into an Ivy League university.
What Do You Like Best About Your School
I like how the staff are supportive. Whenever you're in sports, your teammates will be supporting you to do your best. Even our principal is supportive for students to do their best.
