"What motivates me to stay in D6 is my belief that every student in our district deserves a quality education and the opportunity to graduate from high school college and career ready. Knowing that I can play a role in helping students achieve that goal gives me a strong sense of purpose and motivates me to come to work each day with dedication and determination."

When you think about your experience in our district, what makes you feel proud to work here? 

"I am proud of the positive changes that have taken place throughout the district in recent years. I am grateful for the opportunity to play a small role in improving the lives of our students and contributing to the success of both students and staff."   

What keeps you feeling connected to and supported by our school community? 

"I have the privilege of working alongside an exceptional team of professionals, both at the admin building and in each of our schools. I value the dedication, collaboration, and commitment to supporting the success of our students and staff that I see demonstrated every day."

What's a fun fact about your job? 

"A fun fact about my job is that I am the first person to hold this position at D6. The Legal Department was born in 2019 and started with one person. Now, we have four people in our department. I have had the opportunity to help shape my role and develop processes that support both students and staff. I am proud of the team we have built in the Legal Department, and I hope I am doing a good enough job to stay here until I retire!"

What is one experience with a student or staff member that left a lasting, positive impact on you? 

"One of the most impactful parts of my work is seeing students who have struggled with attendance overcome those challenges and graduate from high school. While I know their success is the result of their own hard work, along with the support of their families, teachers, and other staff, these moments remind me why my work is important and motivate me to continue supporting students who may need an extra advocate to help them reach their goals."
