Academic Pace

All courses at GAP are designed to be completed within ten weeks, once assigned. Students receive an assignment sheet for each course they are enrolled in to track their progress, and ensure completion of the class within ten weeks. The following interventions may be used for any student who does not keep this pace:

• Meeting weekly or daily with an advisor or administrator to set goals
• Completing school work at home
• Extending the school day
• Being placed on an academic plan

Students who do not make academic progress may be referred to the GED program NEXT District 6.
