Cell Phones & Music Devices

Notifications, alarms, sound and music should not be heard in class. Headphones and earbuds must be used when listening to a device while in the classroom. Music should be continuous, a playlist or site, and should be chosen individually. Watching non-school related videos is not allowed during class. Cell phones are expected to be face down on the desk while students are in class. Inappropriate use of cell phones, or lack of academic progress due to cell phone use, may result in loss of cell phone privileges. Students may be required to relinquish their phone to an administrator if deemed necessary by staff, administration, and/or parent or guardian. Music should not be heard by others int eh classroom. Student phone calls are not permitted in the classroom, and students must receive permission from their teacher before taking a phone call.
