Transportation & Parking
Students understand safe driving habits must be adhered to while coming to and leaving school. Students who demonstrate unsafe driving, or who have complaints of unsafe driving from people in area neighborhoods or businesses, may have driving privileges terminated. Depending on the seriousness of the offense, the student may lose their driving privileges, and/or the principal may contact law enforcement authorities.
Many of our students use a variety of ways to get to school including bicycles, skateboards, scooters, etc. Greeley Alternative Program assumes no responsibility for personal transportation devices and riding is not permitted inside GAP. We encourage students to secure their transportation devices on the bike rack. Skateboards, scooters, and other small transportation devices can be stored in a classroom with the teacher's permission or in the front office.
There is no transportation provided by GAP or Greeley-Evans School District 6. Please make all transportation arrangements in a timely fashion, especially for the end of the third shift. Students may ride the city bus for free with a student ID, which GAP can provide if needed.
Students may park anywhere in the Greeley-Evans Alternative Program parking lot. Parking in the church parking lot next door is not allowed.
