Visitors, Volunteers, Guests

Visitors are welcome at GAP. In order to keep our campus safe, all visitors must be at least 18 years of age and are required to report to the front office with a picture ID prior to access to the building or school grounds. After authorization is complete visitors must wear a visitor badge while on campus. Non GAP students may visit GAP during the school day only with advanced approval from their building principal and the GAP administration. Friends and relatives are not allowed in classrooms during class time, and cannot attend class with you.

Volunteers must provide on-going pre-arranged support to building staff. In order to help ensure appropriate oversight of school activities and the welfare and safety of staff and students, every individual who wishes to serve as a volunteer, including parents and guardians, must register and pass a background check through the district's volunteer management system. To register as a District 6 volunteer, individuals must be at least 18 years of age.

Visitors, volunteers, guests are expected to follow all school expectations for conduct and will be asked to leave if this expectation is not met.

Children cannot come to school with a student. Arrangements for a day care must be made before coming to school. The counselor and/or social worker at GAP can assist with getting day care for a student's child.
